Dear Diary,

Today my family decided to move westward, to get more land to build the ranch we’ve dreamed about. We’re also moving because Maine is starting to get a little crowded… So we decided to move to Texas! We’ve heard that it gets a little hot down there so Ma decided to sew some less thick clothing.

June 19, 1846

Dear Diary,

Two months into our journey, we continued to follow a trail and to my surprize we passed over two ghost towns! We also passed and few pioneers who we’re moving to California to explore. Pa said they were moving to California to explore, Pa also said we’re going to be on the border of Georgia in about two days to visit my grandparents who live there, so i’m super excited!

We’re finally here! It’s been six hard long months of boredom, but I did get to see a cowboy trying to tame a bronco, now that was entertaining.
